How do I choose the date format for blog articles?

Step 1: Go to Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page > Date Format.

Step 2: Type in the date format that will be used to display the date of your blog articles. Visit WordPress Date & Time Formatting if you are not familiar with the date format for WordPress.
